Dr. Nishi Patel, M.D., is a dynamic and accomplished cardiologist whose clinical practice and leadership are shaping the landscape of cardiovascular medicine. Based at WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, Dr. Patel is renowned for his expertise in heart failure, cardiac critical care, and advanced cardiac imaging. As the National Director of Cardiac Imaging for Access Physicians/SOC Telemedicine, he also plays a pivotal role in expanding access to specialized cardiac care for rural and underserved communities across the United States.

At WellSpan York Hospital, Dr. Patel manages some of the most challenging cases in heart failure and cardiac critical care, offering advanced therapies such as ECMO, LVAD, and Impella to patients with life-threatening heart disease. His work has helped establish a comprehensive heart failure program that enables patients to receive cutting-edge treatments close to home, thereby enhancing their quality of life and reducing the need for lengthy travel. He is also developing a specialized clinic for survivors of cardiogenic shock, ensuring that these patients receive not just acute care but ongoing support and monitoring.
